If you enjoy history, meeting new people and learning something new, join us as we kick off 2019 with exciting things in store. Each year, members, volunteers, and the community gather to celebrate the accomplishments of the last year and discover what the Marshall Steam Museum has planned for the year ahead.

Through special events, museum programs, and special volunteer opportunities, the Marshall Steam Museum allows the community to experience history in a multi-sensory way. During the operating season at Auburn Heights, volunteers and visitors alike feel the wind on their faces during a ride in a historic automobile, savor the taste of fresh steam-popped popcorn from a vintage popper, and listen for the blast of a locomotive whistle. Join us to learn how you can make the magic happen as part of the Marshall Steam Team.

Volunteers – Hands-On History
Volunteers play an essential role in inspiring and engaging thousands of visitors each year by bringing to life the American experience at the dawn of the automotive age. At Auburn Heights, volunteers experience hands-on history through restoration projects, by helping with events, and by delivering tours to curious visitors from age 2 to 92. Join us at the Annual Meeting to meet some of our dedicated volunteers and see how individuals can make a real difference in people’s live and the future of our organization.

IN THE EVENT OF BAD WEATHER, PLEASE CALL THE FRIENDS OF AUBURN HEIGHTS OFFICE AT 302-239-2385 FOR A RECORDED MESSAGE OR UPDATES.
